How it all started

Triple Home Care was created in 2012 by its directors Mark Austin & Victoria Saunders, who are a very passionate couple about everything they do.

Established December 2012

Mark and Victoria; Talked at great lengths for nearly two years about how they could make a difference to the Care that the elderly received in their local community within Cambridgeshire.

Then in 2012 they made the decision to apply for a CQC license as they felt they could make a difference by setting up a domiciliary care company and Triple Home Care ltd was formed.

With just the two of them, Victoria would provide the care and Mark provided the office support. It was very hard work and the hours were very long but the passion they both shared for care was perfect for them and the community. They still have the passion they had the day Triple home care was opened and this will continue because we care!

Continuity of Care

Triple Home Care recognizes that care is best given at a time when the care worker and service user have worked together for some time and will try to ensure continuity in this regard. There will be occasions, however, (such as holidays, sickness etc.) when the care worker normally assigned to the service user may not be available. In such cases an alternative care worker will be supplied.

Quality of Service

Triple Home Care always aims to deliver a quality service to the highest standards. Information from the service user is a vital part of Triple Home Care's Quality Assurance Program and the service user will be asked for feedback on the quality of service they have received on a regular basis.

What is Safeguarding?

The term safeguarding is used to define actions taken to protect vulnerable groups from harm. A vulnerable adult is defined as a person who, for any reason, may be unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves against significant harm or exploitation. Safeguarding vulnerable adults involves reducing or preventing the risk of significant harm from neglect or abuse, while also supporting people to maintain control of their own lives. All carers have safeguarding training and are encouraged to report any concerns they have relating to our Service Users or our care staff and we encourage and educate our staff members to fully understand the safeguarding and whistleblowing terms.

We have a “Good” rating for all 5 of the key questions the CQC ask when carrying out an inspection, we are very proud of this rating however we are always striving to improve to an outstanding level. Please see the below the five key questions we were rated on:

Triple Home Care Ltd believes that the following statements best describe the values within which we seek to operate daily.

We believe that each Client in our care has the fundamental RIGHT to:

  • Be regarded as an individual and given our special attention.
  • Be cared for by people who can understand their needs and are competent.

  To meet those needs;

  • Be treated equally, and no less favorably than others.
  • Receive respect and understanding regarding their cultural, religious and spiritual beliefs.
  • Receive prompt attention in relation to all their healthcare needs.
  • Be safe, feel loved and always know that “someone cares”.
  • Be informed about all important decisions that affect them, and to have a say.
  • Be afforded privacy for themselves and their belongings.
  • Can think independently and make their own choices.
  • Complain about anything they feel is unfair or unjust, and to have that complaint listened and responded to.
  • We are all a team and work together to be the best!
  • Support each other – Always someone to talk to and help (work related or personal)
  • We are not like other care agencies – We are a care company that actually CARES!
  • We go that extra step – i.e. if a service user has run out of milk – We will get them some. Either by going to the shop yourself or letting the next carer to visit know!
  • We do not gossip – Our policy is if you have a problem with someone, talk to that person directly or to your senior/manager. (NOT ANOTHER TEAM MEMBER OR SERVICE USER).
  • We have a fantastic team that work hard to maintain the high standards Triple Home Care is known for!
  • Our policy is to recruit internally (when possible) and give our staff every opportunity to further their career with NVQ QUALIFICATIONS and in-house training.

Here's what our family think :

I have been really impressed and comforted by the support and care my mum has had from Triple Home Care and particularly yourself. I’m sure we would have had to have moved her to a home much earlier without your support. If there is anything I can do to help you or Triple Home Care please let me know. Thanks for everything

Service User

We would like to say thank you for the high quality of care given to my mother by all your careers. As you know this was the first time we have done this, and we have every confidence in using your service again. My mother was very happy with the friendly and supportive care she was given. In addition we would have no hesitation in recommending your organisation.

Service User

On behalf of the whole family I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you all for your care – and for completely going above and beyond to make the last couple of days of her life more bearable. It has meant a lot to us as a family knowing that mum has been cared for in a way that she would have been pleased with and reflects the very caring nature she had herself. Thanks for staying with us – when we needed some extra support – it was very valued.

Service User

May I take this opportunity to thank you all for the compassion and care that you showed my father. Although fate dictated that we were unable to use your services for a prolonged period of time, we would not hesitate in recommending you. In fact; we already have!

Service User

There is only one care service, that is Triple Home Care from Huntingdon you can rely on them in more ways than one, they are kind gentle and caring, they work well and as they are asked. The timing of them is good if going to be late or held up they ring you to tell you. Yes I can recommend this team little bit dearer than some others but you get what you pay for.
